A/C cools well. Will put my bedroom down to about 61 at night, which is perfect. It is a loud sucker though. But then I don’t have to worry about street noise... I am somewhat anxious about my first electric bill. It sure makes that wheel turn.

Perfect for the garage

I am using the unit in my 4 car garage and it's excellent. I like how quiet it is and having a climate controlled environment is awesome when working on cars.

Just what I was looking for.

I have a 450 square foot great room that is west facing. It becomes very hot in the late afternoon. Wanted a portable air conditioner that could handle the job. I found this Newair and am very pleased. Setup was easy and my room is now nice and cool!

Great product with a good warranty

This unit cooled my home very well, until it ran into some unforeseen issues. However NewAir has a great warranty and am getting a replacement in the works.

Can't believe how well this cools!

The week this arrived at our house, we had our first very warm, humid weekend of the season. My husband had this Newair Portable Air Conditioner set up in about 10 minutes. It was so easy. I think the part that took the longest was actually getting it out of the box because it's kind of awkward.
While I read through the directions to make sure I wasn't going to accidentally break something, the user settings are basically self-explanatory. It's very easy to use. It quickly cools the space and it isn't absurdly loud (much quieter than a traditional window unit but not as quiet as the central air in our previous home).

CUSTOMER SERVICE VERY HELPFUL

I bought this unit a little over a year ago and only use it in the summer months as I live in the northeastern part of the country. It worked great during last summer and also this summer up until last week when the condenser seemed to fail. As it was an expensive unit and only a couple months past warranty, I was pleased with Newair’s concern for my satisfaction. As of now, they will be sending me another grade A unit within about a
week. Hoping this was just a fluke and that the replacement will have no issues.
