I used to wait a couple of minutes just to get my old computer to start, with this LG unit, it takes only a couple of seconds. Speed is first and foremost what I look for in a laptop. The other features of this unit are just as awesome but takes second seat.

The minus is if you hover over a key it thinks you’re pressing it! Small lesson to learn for all its wonderful features.

Better Than My Dell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to try the LG Gram after having problems with my last two Dell Computers. Although I have only had this LG Gram laptop for about three weeks I am very much pleased with its performance, Thus far the battery is good for at least 11 hours. I put it back on charge when the battery drops to around 12% remaining. Fastest booting computer that I have ever had as it is fully booted and ready for use in around 15 seconds. Nary a problem thus far. Excellent screen and very good sound. Only disappointment is that it does not have a touch screen.

Great Laptop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really enjoying my new17" LG Gram. It is so lightweight and has very good battery life. I had tried the 16" several months back but had problems with it and had to return. I have not experienced any major problems with this one.

Lightweight and Fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my new LG Gram 17" Laptop for a couple of weeks. It is so light compared to my old laptop! I chose the LG Gram after looking extensively online and reading product reviews. The reasons I went with this particular model were 1.) I wanted a 2tb hard drive to store my photography 2.) I wanted more memory than my previous laptop 3.) I wanted a full traditional numeric keyboard which is lacking in the smaller models 4.) I wanted a backlighted keyboard with black keys on silver background 5.) I wanted more USB ports. This laptop had everything I wanted except an SD card port (not a big deal, I purchased a card reader), The laptop is fast, was very easy to set up and configure, update my software and transfer over my data. I use Photoshop a lot, and it is so much faster. The screen resolution is beautiful, great for viewing and editing photos for my blog. In short, I love this laptop and recommend it!
