Lightweight and efficient

I am very pleased with the zippiness of the computer, that fact that it is lightweight and that the keyboard is easy and comfortable to use. It's a genuinely pleasant experience and has exceeded my expectations.

Very lightweight, efficient, super quality monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using other high-end workstation laptops for many years, and tried to use LG laptop because it's the first laptop with very lightweight for my extensive travel.
LG is known for super qualify monitor, this computer is very lightweight for travel and work, super quality monitor with over 17". Very slim and worried about heating and noise, but no heating, no sound for all days running. Cost effectiveness is very high. Good for professional and office work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this computer about 8 months ago. It has been a great computer for use in my small business with running the books, and I also use it at home for personal use. It was running slow lately, so I did a factory re-boot, but the speed didn't change. I called LG, and they had me send it in. They will repair it or send me a new one, because it is still under warranty. Their customer service was wonderful! Friendly, problem-solving, and professional through the entire process. Even though I have had this problem with it, I would recommend this laptop and I would buy it again because of the excellent service.

My lightweight Laptop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been so used to lugging heavy laptops around the world with power supplies that are just as heavy, imagine how I felt when this one was delivered and it actually weighed what the specs said, a 17 inch laptop the is at least half the weight of comparable laptops. It has full specs so imagine my disappointment when the battery gave out on me while still in warranty. It has been returned for repair and so far it has been two weeks without any indication when I will get it back. Apart from that, the machine is great, I am heavy into photography so this laptop does everything I need as well as all my other computing needs.

I love my 17" gram! It does everything as promised. It is light, but the screen is huge. Great when having two windows side by side as I often do for work. The speed is great and the extras are nice such as fingerprint access.

Have had the LG Gram 17" for a little over a year now. It never ceases to amaze me how a laptop this light can boast a 17" screen (which is absolutely gorgeous) and full keyboard with embedded number pad (a must for me as I'm a number crunching spreadsheet geek). Admittedly, when I unboxed it I was concerned it wouldn't hold up - I'm also a road warrior for work and my first impression was that the Gram felt a little flimsy. But I was clearly wrong - the Gram's hinge, keyboard/touchpad and overall case are just as tight now as when it came out of the box. Not a machine for gamers with the integrated graphics (nice to see that the new 17" Grams offer a graphics card option, so maybe time for an upgrade for me), but performance for my usage has been outstanding. And battery performance rocks - for such a large screen, the Gram barely sips off of the battery when I use it unplugged. In addition to the new graphics card option, I'd love to see LG offer the Gram as a convertible with touch screen; would likely add a little weight, but this thing is so light a few extra ounces wouldn't even register. All things considered, I highly recommend the Gram for just about anyone but gamers.
