Great personal Chromebook

I needed a new device since losing my job. This Chromebook was perfect. It is a perfect size for a tablet and/or laptop. I like how I can flip to watch a movie and I love the touch screen. Perfect for something less clunky!

I got this for my son to use for school etc. He was beyond happy. It’s actually pretty nice for the price, quick enough and works well.. my oldest was a little jealous he got one before her but I am pretty sure she figured out she will be getting one for her birthday at the end of the month. Overall highly recommend for anyone looking for a basic chromebook, best one out the I have seen in this price point.

This is a very durable laptop with touchscreen features, and has FAST prossecing and it saves my work quickly! I am able to my schoolwork without lag and it runs very smoothly. The school chromebooks that my school gave me were trash and barely ever typed without lagging. On this great thing I can watch YouTube, and do other things. The fact that is supports Google Play is great, as I can play games that I can't get for free like on a Windows laptop I can't download google play and I have to buy things on Steam which is basically a ripoff since I can get those things for free on Google play. I bought this for my school and I have been working on this without problems. And not to forget it has 15 hours of battery life! I can do my work without charging for 15 hours. Great Chromebook. The only problem I have is the left shift key and the ENTER key. They are a bit small and I end up typing this -> \ or this -> \. But great chromebook! Thank you Best Buy you gave me the right information! I would recommend you to buy this laptop!

You get what you pay for

The Chromebook itself is an attractive unit: quick start up, good battery life. The screen is pretty mediocre but I knew that before I bought it. If this is your first computer, you'll be just fine. But I am a sixty-something computer dummy, just switching over from using Mac for the last 10 years. And it's an exercise in frustration. A few examples: after spending over 2 hours with Acer tech support, I learned that the Bluetooth on this Chromebook will not pair up with my good Marshall portable speaker (it works fine with my iPhone). And I just learned that I cannot send Google Doc files as attachments to Gmail (this makes no sense to me since both are on the Google platform). Bottom line: if you're a Mac user thinking of switching over, and can afford the $1000 to stay with Mac, I would seriously consider it. I'm looking at many more hours and probably a lot more frustration to complete the switch over to Chromebook.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Suits me for just what I bought it for. Easy to carry around with me as I watch what I want to watch during the day and keep in touch with who I want to keep in touch with.

I am still learning to use this device but it is a joy to handle and very versatile. I find myself seamlessly working b9th the keyboard and the touch screen to accomplish tasks..
Best devise I have ever had.
