Microphone and camera are awful

Not good for video conferencing (Zoom, MS Teams etc.), the camera is very dark, it looks like you're in a cave even though you're in a brightly lit room. The microphone is so quiet, my daughter's teachers could not hear her. The teachers could hear her just fine on her old Chromebook. We returned the first one thinking it was just one bad apple and ordered another one of the same model. It was just as bad so we returned it too. The one redeeming quality was Best Buy's returns procedure is so easy and fast. I was so glad they allowed us to return this sub-par product that wasn't going to work for us.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This chromebook is light weight and very fast speed i really enjoying using it its super easy and the touch screen is amazing response and the flip is perfect i an really happy with this

Affordable chromebook

Solid state circuitry and ease of use makes the Acer Spin 11.6 one top contender in low end chromebooks. It is ideal for junior high students who need a device for school or distance learning. The touch screen allows for more flexibility as does the convertible screen. The weight is not to much for the back pack either.

Everything i wanted in a chromebook for my grade 8, she loves it! Touchscreen with a stylus is perfect since she loves to draw, and enough space for her to save her files for home and school.

i have to say for my very first Chromebook purchase i am very satisfied. the newer Acer Spin 311 is a beast. basically its like having a tablet with a keyboard due to the google play store having access to all android apps. I no longer use my expensive samsung tablet.

ACER SPIN 2in1 touch screen chromebook

They have been working very good so far.
I bought 2 for my kids online learning and they are both finding them easy to use.
If you are going to buy one, just make sure you have two logins if your child uses it because for some reason one of them kept switching back to the parent account and so I had to set it up with a second login. Other than that it is ok so far.
