Great Dryer !!!

I have never owned a Whirlpool appliance but it is the best dryer so far. The app-based feature is amazing. The quality of drying is top notch. I highly recommend this Dryer.

Nice looking, but not enough heat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems too energy efficient! Only 1 setting actually produces ‘heat’ to dry clothes; otherwise, this dryer just cool air dries and runs for a while. I’m all for saving our planet, but I like to use hot air & a quicker cycle to dry a load. Also, no Operating Manual provided, just an on-line link. This unit is nice looking, but doing a less than satisfactory job.

Meh…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Generally speaking, we like it. The auto sensing feature, however, doesn’t work. Clothes are still wet or damp when the auto cycle completes. Not sure how that happens but it’s a huge design flaw. We end up using the Timed Dry cycle and manually select the temperature for all loads. Otherwise, we waste time and energy redrying the loads used with Auto Sense. In speaking to others who have other makes/models with an auto sense feature, they cite the same issue, so we just gave up researching. All of these new, high-tech features in newer machines don’t seem to perform as consistently as basic models. The problem is, you can’t get the basic models with the larger capacity. Ugh.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dryer light sporadically stays on for 3+ minutes during drying cycle. Other times it doesn’t turn on Dryer light button does it work. Drying time has increased by 30%. Increased utility bill. Top of Dryer sheet metal is lifted

Please see the following for some troubleshooting tips: Dryer Troubleshooting for Long Dry Times: Key Checks Heating: Check if the dryer is producing heat (run a heated cycle for 5 minutes and feel inside). Venting & Airflow: This is the most likely cause if the dryer is heating. Cleanliness: Clean the lint screen after every use and occasionally clean residue from fabric softener. The house vent line should be cleaned every one to two years. Obstruction: Verify the outside exhaust hood is not blocked (must be 12" from ground/objects). Condition: Ensure the vent is not crushed and is made of 4" diameter heavy metal material (not foil/plastic). Length: Keep the vent run as short and straight as possible. Cycle Selection: Use an automatic cycle for best performance. Note that the EcoBoost™ option will increase drying time by approximately 40 minutes. Error Codes: An AF or "Check Vent" error code indicates restricted airflow/clogged vent. Touch any key to clear. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so happy with my new Dryer. Did I mention at 59 yrs old this is my first brand new washer and dryer. My dryer is amazing it's so nice to not have to add your laundry soap to every load that soap . The color is amazing. dispenser there with your laundry soap goes in and and your Downey is amazing You just put your clothes in and put what button you want and you're good to go
