It was time to upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does what a dryer is supposed to do. Unexpected rebate from SoCal Gas. Nice they offer at no charge a during shelf for washable shoes at no charge. I waited 22 years to upgrade from my KitchenAid dryer set. This is the parent company so I'm hoping the service life will exceed my expectations.

Main function - to dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall it is a nice dryer, but it appears that there may be a learning curve. On my old dryer I set the automatic try to normal, or more dry, and things came out dry. On this one I am having to run a few cycles to get to the point that what's inside is dry. Even on the more dry setting. I'm sure it will get better, it has to right?

Great dryer that does everything it should & more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer was purchased as part of a washer/dryer set. It appears well built and works as expected. The automatic "moisture sensing" feature seems dependent upon the type of clothing is being dried and the quantity placed into the dryer. There are many settings available including "more or less dryness", a "timed dry cycle", and other convenience items. As with any dryer and to keep it operating properly, the lint catch must be cleaned between each load and the vents should be clean and kept free of lint. Our last Kenmore dryer lasted for over 20 years and we hope this Whirlpool set will perform just as well.
