Loud and drying takes forever

Moisture Sensor Feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The moisture sensor feature doesn't work well with mixed loads. For example, if jeans are included in with other items, the jeans don't dry completely. We found that using the timed load feature works better with mixed loads.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since this is state of the art, I would have thought it would be quieter. Plus the manuals that came with the washer & dryer are not very helpful. My previous whirlpool pairs had information on the washer lid. No one needs to watch their clothes wash.

Not what I was expecting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this around thanksgiving because my old dryer burnt out. Was excited about the new one and all the new features but the new features are horrible. Whenever I use the automatic features for drying my clothes still comes out wet or at least damp the only way to get all the clothes to dry correctly is only on timed drying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dryer does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased 6 months ago, it did take time to get used to the settings and figure out how to manually set time and temperature, since I don't have time to wait for the automatic settings to complete. There are too many useless buttons, such as towels, whites, and colors, totally unnecessary for a dryer, I have the steam and never used it either. The only reason I purchased this dryer was that I needed one ASAP, all that was available from Whirlpool was the one with steam. Would be nice if it were simpler, too many useless features that will malfunction and will need repairs just because they are there.

Great features and size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a great dryer. We have one had it for about a month, but we as a family greatly enjoy its reliability and efficiency. It is very easy to use and dries the items as it should. We had purchased a LG dryer just prior and sent it back due to a lot of small issues that made it a big issue. This dryer has been flawless thus far. Very happy with our purchase.
