Nice looking refrigerator with great features

Bought this refrigerator in November 2022. I really like the refrigerator. It really cool to be able to see inside without opening. I also like the craft ice maker on it but the regular ice maker seems to freeze up a lot & gets clogged up. I don’t know why companies can’t seem to get ice makers right. The refrigerator is very stylish/modern looking too. Overall I am pleased with refrigerator but disappointed with ice maker. So far craft ice has no problems.

unit is one year old and the ice maker is broken

It does this about three time per day. I will never purchase LG products again.
Too expensive to be broken in less than a year.

I bought this about two weeks ago and am enjoying the features on our new LG refrigerator with craft ice. It’s quiet. The shelves and bins are made nicer than some of the other refrigerators that we looked at and they slide in and out easily. The feature on the easy access front door panel is great for grabbing items used frequently, I am sure it saves on energy. The craft ice is a great feature as well. There seems to be one flaw with the icemaker. There is no tray to catch the ice so some of it winds up not going in the glass and onto the floor. I would’ve liked to of seen a catch tray for the ice and I also would’ve liked to of had black accents on the door handle areas and icemaker interior to match my other stainless steel appliances.

I love the idea you don't have to open the whole refrigerator just to get a couple of items you need. The ice maker is which includes another ice maker for drinks the ice is size of a golf ball . When it's working it's great

Pro it's like a Tardis. It holds an immense amount. Keeps everything cool or frozen.
Cons Design flaw on crisper drawer, it's top is glass and sticks out past the shelves. We broke it in a week. LG replaced it. 3 months later the Craft Ice maker quit. LG replaced it. At 1 yr 5 month mark the compressor quit. LG replaced it. Excellent customer service, something I didn't want to personally find out about.

Poor quality

I purchased this refrigerator in 01/2023. Everytime I close the refrigerator side the freezer side opens slightly, not enough to set off the dinging noise, but enough to ice over everything in the freezer. We have called LG twice, troubleshooted with them and nothing helps. The door is actually not even with the refresh door. LG refuses to help or be accountable for a defective freezer door. Will get Thermador next time I get a new refrigerator, if I'm still alive.
