[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this after we bought our new house. I love all the room in it, along with the UV light in the door for the water/Ice dispenser. The only problem we see, is the ice dispenser jams sometimes. I will just switch from cubed to crushed ice and that will unjam it. Other than that, we love our new LG fridge!

Thought I would miss having handles....nope, now I don't even know why this no-handle design was never thought of before, pure genius. The convenience door is the best feature. I keep all of the things I need daily on the door, I'm in and out quickly and not losing cold air, saving energy and $$$. The dual ice maker is the bomb!! Never run out of ice and I use alot, it makes more than you can use in a day. The craft ice is just..... fun, had a party and all people could talk about was the round ice, who knew ice would be the talk of the party. LG has moved to the leader of the pack with this new design...well done LG!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know how LG did it - this refrigerator is the same exterior dimensions of my former one, but its 3.5 cubic feet BIGGER on the insides. Talk about quiet - it is almost silent. The door-in-door feature is what sold me on the unit, and it truly is wonderful to have my most used items within an easy reach without opening up the full door. The UVnano feature is an unexpected feature as it disinfects the water system with UV light. I didn't think I'd find much of a use for the Craft Ice, but have since fallen in love with them. One perfectly spherical piece of ice fits a cocktail glass perfectly - and an instant conversation starter.

We had this product delivered the first week of January, and discovered the product has a defective door which does not seal. It is very beautiful, but it is still sitting in the middle of our kitchen floor, we are having trouble getting it fixed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design of the LG side by side, door in door refrigerator is functional, and sleek with a subtle look. In the past all of our refrigerators have had handles which we originally thought would be an adjustment but it didn't take long to get use to it at all. Without the handles it almost seems to give a cleaner appearance as though there is more space with a modern design. The color of the water/ice dispenser surround is similar to the stainless which blends in.
Aside from the deep roomy shelves, crushed, whole and craft ice/water, the door in door the feature is used often. It's too early to see energy benefits yet, however it makes sense that there would be some savings in lessening the need to access everything. We chose the side by side because we found that we could view everything at a quick glance, lessening waste and over/re-buying food. Wi-fi is available, however this was not a "game-changer" for us in our research before the purchase.
