Our previous refrigerator was a very popular brand that did'nt have a clue how to design a reliable ice maker. They replaced (2) in the first 5 months and we replaced the last one at our cost, which lasted (3) months. We used ice trays for the next (2) years, then bought the LG

So much easier have the craft ice maker.
We have had to reset the arm that goes down to know when it needs more ice balls.

Great, Spacious Refrigerator

It is spacious, quiet, and has an upper door to quickly access milk, sodas, etc. without having to open the entire door. I like the seamless design: the lack of handles takes a bit of getting used to but now really love it.

Fine... except craft ice maker

We've had our refrigerator for 3 years now. Overall, it works fine... it's a refrigerator. However, one of the primary reasons we bought the model was for the craft ice maker, which has worked properly for all of about 6 months of it ownership. Unfortunately, LG has been less than helpful in repairing it!
