We've had the fridge for a few weeks now and absolutely LOVE it. Much more room that I expected and really well organized. We are still deciding exactly what we want to store in the door...for quick, easy access. Some reviews comment on how loud the ice is when it dumps. We have not found it to be any louder than other ice makers. The craft ice is a real hit.

We purchased the LG Side by Side door in door model in December 2021. Today, September 17th were looking at a door in door repair and the craft ice dispenser repair. We were told that the door in door issue was likely from someone pulling to hard on it. Well, I live with my husband and father-in-law and they don't EVER use the door-in-door. I use it on occasion. So, my concern is that the plastic piece is not durable enough to withstand the use of the door. Shouldn't this piece be a metal piece since it's the piece that holds the door hook? The craft ice dispenser is leaking water into the craft ice box. The plastic piece also broke in the craft dispenser. This is covered under the manufactures warranty and they will repair the craft ice dispenser. They will not replace the piece on the door in door.
