I don't have to bend down to hunt for something in the freezer. This is very important to any 74 years old person like me. The door on door works great. I just need to open a small part of the fridge to access the things that I constantly need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently built a new house and wanted to have the door in door LG like the one we left in our old home. It was not available when it was time to move in so I had to settle for another brand. I was very unsatisfied and was able to return it and get the LG I wanted. The best part of this appliance is the storage and organization. Every bit of space is used efficiently to provide the maximum storage which was not the case with the other brand. I love the craft ice and the fact that the ice and water dispenser is taller and I am able to get my tall tumbler under it with no problem also not the case with the other brand. It operates quietly and keeps everything cold and the crisper helps keep produce fresh longer that the other brand. I love the convenience of door in door. It looks nice and the only regret I have is that I was not able to get the black stainless and the stainless seems to show more prints than I would like.

Pros: Very quiet, works excellent, looks good, fast ice, craft ice option.
Cons: Lack of compartments in refrigerator (no butter, eggs, meat or any other flip ups.) The pulls on the lower bins are on the bottom... very stupid!
The WiFi is not very useful: you can only change temperatures, but can't read the actual temperature. You can't turn the ice makers on and off remotely, only the amount of ice. The WiFi will not come back on if you have a power interruption.

The craft ice is nice for your yeti cup or a whiskey glass. The one thing that takes some getting used to is that all the drawers have bottom pulls. It is an unnatural feel to reach below the draw to open.

This refrigerator is 1 million times better than the one we had the icemaker is really cool for craft ice the other ice cubes are the perfect size. The water dispenser in ice dispenser are really great with cold water I know that sounds strange but we didn’t have it before it was luke warm yuck. The drawers slide open and closed so smoothly. It is quieter than others we’ve had. Customer service could not have been more accommodating and helpful with multiple ways for us to get information to them and from them. We also have called the team that has all of the knowledge about each of the appliances and their features and functions and we have gotten all of our answers from them they are very very knowledgeable and helpful. We could not be happier!

The half door on the refrigerator side is a terrific way to access drinks and condiments quickly. The entire unit is well planned and roomy inside. The crisper drawers and shelves are ideally placed. The freezer side is equally well designed, and the options for cubed, crushed, and craft ice are wonderful! We are big fans of all of LG’s products, have enjoyed top-quality performance from all of them we have owned, and will be LG customers for life. They are simply the best!
