We debated if we wanted to go with a side-by-side to avoid the big freezer drawer where items can get lost in the bottom. It was an excellent choice. We are finding items much easier and find that there is ample room in both the refrigerated and freezer side.

I really like this refrigerator. Of course it keep food cold - but it's more than that. The door shelves are wide, the shelves are sturdy. I feel like the design maximizes the actual places you can store food. Of course I love the craft ice maker which was the winner for me.

We have had the fridge about a month and are so in love with it. We had a French door frudge with freezer in the bottom and just hated it. The side by side is so much more accessible for us. The door in door is a great feature and allows us to get to the coffee creamer (and other frequently used items :) ) quickly. We also love using the craft ice for overnight water cups. The ThinQ app that LG uses for the fridge is great to have. It allows you to set the fridge light on a timer so it can dim to your preferrred percentage at night, or anytime, so the light is not overwhelming. Love this! The fridge is roomy, accessible, and full of features!

The good, love the outer fridge door for easy access to frequently use items, the craft ice maker and how well the front cleans up. I also appreciate LG's quick response when one of the freezer shelves broke. A few design problems. The water dispenses one cool glass of water and then tap temperature, doors slam shut unless opened all of the way, drawer handles are below the drawers requiring bending over too far, drawers will only open when the door is all the way open past 90 degrees (photo), craft ice maker drawer does not have a stop so it can fall out if you aren't careful and the door fronts are not flat (photo). I also haven't been able to use the Thin Q features because he fridge can't seem to stay connected to WiFi but I don't really care about that.

This is a replacement fridge from our homeowner warranty company. Side by side is way more efficient to deal with food storage. We are able to fit more food in this than our prior fridge. The black finish is beautiful but take care because it will scratch easily. Like the UV function for water treatment and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the absence of handles. Just grab the slot and open. Also love the quick door feature where you don't need to open up the entire door on the right side to have access to your cartons of milk and other drinks. Craft Ice is a neat feature too. Highly recommend this fridge.
