Great value, plus convenience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I love about the LRDSS2706S is the door-in-door feature. I have placed our breakfast fixings, snack foods, and drinks in this space and it is super convenient! I love just opening that little door to retrieve something quickly. I also like the "no-handles" style, it makes for a sleek, modern look. What I do not like is the slow pace of ice making, even with the ice plus mode on. We are home most days, live in a warm climate, and consume a lot of ice for cold drinks all day. The ice maker cannot keep up. I have resorted to supplementing with ice trays. Another thing, I wish the shelves had more options for arrangement. I need a short shelf space for a large pizza. I have added a wire shelf (like the ones used in cabinets) to create a mezzanine-type shelf. Overall, I really like the LRSDS2706S and recommend it as a great value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a promotional product but I have many LG products in my home. The fridge is well designed and has modern features like no handles on doors, WIFI connection thru LG app, easy controls on side of fridge section wall and quick access door in front. The SS no fingerprint surface really works! It has 2 modes of ice making, regular and craft which are large balls of ice that don't melt fast for drinks. My only issue was the leaking rubber gasket on the freezer door was causing frost to build up but I made an appointment online for a LG Service call and within a week the service guy came over and fixed the issue in 30 minutes.

I think they need to rethink how this is made we haven’t had the refrigerator a whole year and it broke fairly easily. I would strongly recommend getting the extended warranty.

Love outer fridge and LG service

The good, love the outer fridge door for easy access to frequently use items, the craft ice maker and how well the front cleans up. I also appreciate LG's quick response when one of the freezer shelves broke. A few design problems. The water dispenses one cool glass of water and then tap temperature, doors slam shut unless opened all of the way, drawer handles are below the drawers requiring bending over too far, drawers will only open when the door is all the way open past 90 degrees (photo), craft ice maker drawer does not have a stop so it can fall out if you aren't careful and the door fronts are not flat (photo). I also haven't been able to use the Thin Q features because he fridge can't seem to stay connected to WiFi but I don't really care about that.

Best features we’ve ever had!

We are so happy with this product. We’ve always had a freezer at the bottom. A side by side makes locating items so much easier. An unexpected treat is the craft ice system. It has great options for size and style of ice. The drinking water outlet has a UV light that turns on for 10 min’s every hour to keep itself clean. A great feature, but the best in my opinion is the door in door. Being in a hot climate, the family members are constantly opening the door looking for a cool drink ( let’s the warm air in and the cool air out.) The small door opens to 3 large drink shelves. It’s easy and quick to get a drink, and best of all it needs very little energy to keep itself at its temperature settings.
