[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great build quality, nice display, long lasting battery and the perfect size for taking it anywhere. I like the keyboard as well. Everything about it shows quality so I couldn't be happier. I also bought a Legion 7 AMD that I keep at home for work/gaming which I'm really impressed with as well. I replaced my iPad and Surface Pro tablets with this X1 Carbon with its matte screen. I'm spending more time in front of screens and was getting headaches from glossy devices. Those are gone, both these great matte screens are in. It has worked out perfectly. Great job Lenovo! Keep up the impressive quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Essentially the best notebook you can buy for under $1600. This unit marks my 7th notebook from Lenovo over the years, and every time I’m due for an upgrade I research the latest offerings from Dell and HP and Lenovo always comes out on top based on the keyboard layout, construction quality, and general bang for the buck. This latest iteration of the x1 is the best yet and it feels and functions like a FAR more expensive product. I also considered the new MacBook Air, but all things considered, being the same price, I wasn’t willing to leave the PC ecosystem for an entry level Apple unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have four different generations of the Carbon X1. This 9th generation has the best graphics, but a couple of warnings: (1) It is not a laptop device. Two noisy cooling fans on the bottom will be blocked by your lap, causing the machine to rapidly overheat and grind to a halt. (2) The keyboard does not have the fantastic feel of previous generations. Maybe that means it will last longer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Carbons have always been very sleek and lightweight. The feel of the laptop is definitely worthy of it's name. Overall it performed well in terms of speed. I had an issue after deployment of this laptop where the Bluetooth was not working well.The bluetooth for the laptop had limited range to the point where we can only pair a set of bluetooth headset when it is literally sitting on top of the laptop. After spending time and resources troubleshooting the bluetooth, wifi and GPU drivers, it did not make a difference. Finally we decided to open the laptop and found that one of the U.FL bluetooth antenna was not even plugged in. That's my only gripe about it so far.

It seems like I a small thing but I really love the presence detection in combination with Windows Hello on this new generation. And the new cooling system is great!
