[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Thinkpad X1 Carbon Gen 9 has been fantastic so far. The 16:10 non-glossy screen is a real game changer and allows me to see more on the screen. The laptop is light, stylish, rugged and runs very quickly for my needs. The keyboard is different from my Gen6 X1 carbon but still very good. Overall, this new laptop has been terrific for work. The only downside is that I wish it had one more USB-A ports.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second X1 Carbon -- the 1st was the gen.1 and it still works great. The new one bears many signs of progress though -- the speed is on par with my desktop, the size is just right and smaller;) and IPS the screen (16:10) are all worth the upgrade. Our needs are very basic, but if we were to install some extra software and process a lot of graphics, we'd opt for a larger NVMe SSD and if we were to do some serious multitasking, we'd go for the i7 and more RAM -- BUT, we'd had to spend at least a double of what we did...

Light laptop with a good performance hardware and battery. The fingerprint scanner which is embedded with the power button has less sensitivity compared with the previous X1 carbon generation which had a separate fingerprint scanner sensor.
