[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The feel is really nice over all, the trackpad is the only thing that feel a little off, its easy to mark. The price is high but there is no regret and you get the product it pretty awesome
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Slim, slick and light. I bought this with the intention of installing Linux (Ubuntu) on it. Worked like a charm. With the SSDs and i5 CPU, it is quite responsive. I'd buy it again, although I'm hoping this will last a good number of years (that's the main reason I shelled out the extra money for the X1)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Laptop is incredibly light and fast performing. Boots up in less than a minute. Touch screen is reactive and the speaker's work much better than my 10 year old Lenovo T440s. Brought down to 4/5 due to a screen that does not go as bright as I expected. It's not totally dim but for outdoor work I would have liked a little brighter option.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easily the best ultrabook I have ever used.
The tigerlake intel CPU runs fast and manages to stay under 40 degrees celsius for pretty much any kind of usage outside of gaming. Very impressive for a laptop that is so thin and light, yet with such a powerful chip.
The build quality is without any exageration outright incredible. The soft matt finish on the whole body feels amazing and long-lasting. It is very thin and light, while still feeling strongly built and durable, so it is easily throwable into your backpack for convienient work on the go. The tactile feeling of the keyboard and the precision on the trackpad are also off the chart (I seriously can't get over how good the click of the trackpad is). All the ports that you could possibly need are there; having dual thunderbolt 4 will especially make this machine more future proof.
This is obviously a work and business oriented laptop, but the new Iris Xe iGPU still allows for a very acceptable gaming performance. I tested games like Rocket League and Overcooked 2, and it was able to reach above 60 fps with quality settings, without reaching temperatures above 70 degrees. Very impressive for a non gaming laptop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, this laptop has been OK. The size, weight, screen quality and keyboard are all great. However, there is an irritating issue where the Bluetooth will spontaneously stop working (thus disconnecting my external mouse and keyboard when I use it in the office). I have to turn on/off the Bluetooth and then it reconnects, but I expected more from Lenovo and a laptop at this price point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered X1 for my son as he is starting engineering at university. Chose i7 with integrated graphics and HD screen as a balance between performance and battery life. Battery lasts two days at uni without issues, and the performance is great, even with VM running in addition. Keyboard is pleasant to use, and the increased size of the touchpad (though not Mac-ish sized) was welcomed, though for many tasks a mouse is required. I also chose 16 GB RAM as working with VMs was on the list and 8 GB can be a little tight for that.
