For those who are thinking about a light weight daily use laptop (don't care about gaming), this is a fantastic choice.

Fantastic little machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as an upgrade for my second hand T450s and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. The display on this laptop is beautiful at roughly twice the brightness of my old laptop, and the 16:10 aspect ratio is really worth it and makes the 13" screen seem very close in size to my old laptop's 14" screen.
Performance has been great and am able to easily multitask without any slowing down. I'm a bit disappointed that 16GB memory is the max, would have liked to see 32GB, but it's not much of an issue, at least in 2021.
The build quality is great as always when it comes to ThinkPads. The lower key travel is taking some getting used to but it hasn't slowed me down aside from a couple accidental keypresses. The only real gripe I have with this laptop is the lack of USB A ports. Even just one USB A port would have been perfect for me but I guess it's dongle life now. Granted, this is more of an issue with slow adoption of USB C when it comes to peripheral companies like Logitech.
To sum it up, this is an amazing laptop and if you're coming from a 14" 16:9 screen it's definitely not an issue "downgrading" to a 13" 16:10. Only gripes are lack of 32GB memory option and no USB-A but for this machine, I'll totally take the hit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Did not function out of the box. Was received with a bad battery. Replacement was received with a bad Wi-Fi adapter. Had to return for a refund as Lenovo was unable to provide a solution. Not a good experience.
