[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great little laptop. Superior battery, and one of the best keyboards in the business (good travel and key feel). It's a gorgeous little machine, and so light I felt like they must have left out something! It would be great to have some more I/O ports, but I understand that this is a mobile machine, and for that it's great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My X1 Nano i5 has met all expectations and has worked well so far (6 months in). The battery life is reasonable, the weight is phenomenal, and the screen ratio is nice for productivity. And most importantly the thermal control and hot temperatures are at reasonable levels, which is not always the case for ultralights. No travel yet due to COVID-19, but I can't wait to take this on the road.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Still missing a keyboard backlight senor. This is holding most of the x1 back is the lack of a senor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been a long time ThinkPad user, starting with the earlier 12.5" X-series (x60,x220,x230t,etc.). Eventually picked up an X1 carbon (5th gen) and was blown away by how light it was and the impressive build quality. Then upgraded to a t480s for added memory capacity. But, they always felt too big since I had basically "grown up" with the 12.5" thinkpads.
The X1 nano is perfect. It captured that same awe of how thin + light the machine is but it's also just the right form factor. The 16:10 screen gives it a very nice feel, in fact it doesn't seem much different from the 14" options in the X1C5 or t480s.
Linux compatibility is great, and I get decent battery life with proper power configuration (9+ hours of medium-light usage). Everything else so far "just works" with little extra configuration.
Even with the slightly reduced key travel compared to other models it has the same snappiness and tactility that's kept me coming back to Thinkpads.
The speakers are OK, better than run-of-the-mill laptop speakers. The downward facing mid/bass and top-facing tweeters is interesting and sort-of effective.
It can tend to run a bit hot sticking between 38 and 50C during most usage. The fan also likes to come on a bit early without some adjustment.
Overall, very happy. So far has yet to disappoint.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] X1 nano is light and small. X1 nano is fast and the display is great.
Fingerprint reader is nearly useless; maybe recognizes my fingers 10% of the time (after using an iPhone which recognizes my thumb nearly every time, this is ridiculous!). At first, the battery life was disappointing but it's better now that I figured out how to disable the presence sensor. That feature was just an annoyance to a home user; I couldn't even go to the fridge and get a cold one before the X1 nano would go dark and force me to sign in again.
The keyboard is great. USB-C ports required some new devices but, I guess, that's progress!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good laptop. The keyboard is better than the X1 Carbon G2 and G6. The overall build quality is great. The machine is running smoothly. The battery life so far is like on Carbon G6. Not 13h like advertised, but if you use it lightly can take you through the day.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The X1 Nano has been a great companion device while using my primary monitor for meetings and for gaming, and while traveling. It's the first time I've felt like being lightweight is an actual benefit, and the laptop feels like almost all screen. Speaking of which: it's about time 16:10 Thinkpads made a return! Been waiting for this since 2010. The keyboard is still great in spite of having less travel, and the performance suits my needs, with the laptop never getting hot or noisy. The only thing I wish was better is the battery life. I get about 7 hours of battery life instead of the claimed 14+ hours. Overall, I really love this device, and it was worth the wait.
