Expensive sound machine/clock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using this Lumalou for a week now. There a some neat features but it is just an expensive sound machine/clock for us. The sleep training feature sounds impressive however for us it is flawed. The red star light comes on at the appropriate time and then shuts off. My child only knows if it is sleep or get up time by pressing the remote which then turned into a game. The routine feature would be amazing if it showed the whole routine and dimmed or something the ones complete. My toddler has trouble remembering what comes next and hit complete just to see her next item. It's a very nice looking system. My child loves the cloud and star. I just wish it functioned a little different.

Expensive and not user friendly

My child loves this but it is not parent friendly. The app is slow, glitchy and complicated for no reason. FP needs to update the app to support parents being able to choose the activity because the routines DO NOT happen (even with times being set). Also there is no bed icon! Seriously? However, we make it work. My child falls asleep perfectly to the "Ready Set Sleep" setting but it's a pain to do anything with this. Poor experience could be fixed with an app update.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so surprised at how well this worked for my twins. They look forward to it everyday. The timer is set for when they wake up to brush their teeth. The look for it to make noise to tell them what to do. I have the timer set for them to brush teeth, put on clothes, eat, nap, play time, and bedtime. It lights up the room enough at night to be a nightlight and it’s so cute.

The key to a better bedtime routine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to have the opportunity to review the Lumalou Better Bedtime Routine System. My youngest daughter has struggled with bedtime for a long time now. When we received the Lumalou, I was so impressed with how easy it was to set up right out of the box! The instruction packet was super simple to understand and even came with hanging templates to take the guess work out of hanging it.
Once you download the app, there are several options to help create morning and bedtime routines. The only con I found was that you can only have one routine set for each day. My daughter loves to push the button to mark off her tasks. The Lumalou has helped my bedtime routine become more streamlined and less stressful for me. My daughter knows that once all her tasks have been checked off, I will turn on the Ready, Set, Settle mode and will get in bed to watch the lights and listen to the music.

Awesome Product!

She is 2 1/2 and the ability to create various routines is a plus. She loves the lights and sounds and the best part for me is being able to control everything from my phone. I highly recommend this product and it can be used for several years! I received this product for free through the Mattel Play, Rate & Review Program in exchange for my honest opinion.
