[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] love the turf builder sun and shade mix as you know all yards are different on how much sun or shade they receive ,but I can say the results for our yard that gets alot of both the seed has worked wonders nice and green,less weeds,easy to use,and price is a value.we keep an extra bag just to touch up before spring into later spring even with the winter that has been tough.just watching the results amazes us we love our lawn and you will too.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Effective

Grows fast and thick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had trouble with Grubs this past year, as soon as the bug problem was dealt with, we needed to fill in the huge bare areas with grass. We were afraid it would be weeks till me saw growth, but with in 8-10 days a thick green covering started to grow. It blended in well with the rest of the lawn... No problems since

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had just had a patio put in and needed to replace the grass they destroyed doing it and we used this .When it grew in it turned out to be the BEST LOOKING LAWN we have ever had!!!!

Very little of the seed cane up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very small percentage of this seed came up. We did have lot's of rain whether or not this played a part in the low performance I would have no idea.

The soil should be loosened or amended prior to seeding, and the seed should be watered lightly twice per day. Too much watering can inhibit seed germination. I live in a area that has not been fertilized since the early 1940s,yet the seed always grows.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Good Directions, Value, Quality, needs less watering.

I have had problems growing grass on my lawn which is a mix of extreme sun, and very dense shade. My local Lawn care center recommended this product. I put this down with the Step 1 Scotts product with weed killer, that allows you to plant grass seed, and I now have a thicker, greener lawn. I followed the directions on the packaging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought in black dirt for my 3/4 acre lot and then seeded the whole thing with sun and shade mix and within two weeks the whole yard was full. This product is great.
