[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never had a bad experience with scott products. Have used them for years n I am 84 yrs. old n been married for 65 yrs. so have had lots of experience. My husband n I have used them together over the years but now its all up to me as he is unable to help me. We both are 100% that without scotts products, our yard would not be the best crop of grass in the neighborhood. We proudly tell when asked, that we get the best results with scotts. Our yard can prove our statement. We have lived at this address for over 40 years. I cut the grass with a self propelled lawn mower. Hope I will be able to do it myself this year. It will soon have to be cut for the first time in a couple of weeks.
Pros: Value, Quality, Easy to Use, Good Directions, Effective, have always found your products to do great.
Cons: have not found a problem yet.

I expected more from a Scott"s product.

If I get what I pay for I'm a happy man and a loyal customer. I paid more money for Scott's grass seed with poor results. I've had success from generic seed in the past but tried Scott's as a comparison. I'll stick with the generic landscapers mix. It works better and is less expensive. I think I expected better results with Scott's...Very disappointed.

Cons: Didn't work as expected
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Needed to fill sopts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed to fill spots last summer after brutal winter and a lot of salt/ road damage to corners in yard. Quick grow and nice filler. Have used cheaper products in the past that do not fill evenly

Purchased to reseed my terrace

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I reseeded my terrace witch i reworked. I used my scotts spreader and in less than an hour i was finished. The grass is now coming up and it looks great.A good product.Thanks for a product that really works .

Very tuff product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product around a new outdoor fire pit I put in my back yard. It only took a couple of days of watering to get started and then it took off. After a couple of weeks the grooves in between the rocks were filled with nice thick grass.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Good Directions, Value, Quality
Cons: none was awesome

Worked Great for Me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 4X6 foot area bare spot next to my patio. Years ago, flowers used to be planted in that area. I decided to plant grass in the bare spot this year. I raked the soil, applied Scott's Starter Fertilizer, raked again, and applied Scott's grass seeds. The seeds took hold quickly. The bare spot should be completely filled in by next summer. I would recommend these seeds.
