No Luck !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cleaned out old bad spots of old soil, put fresh soil down, no fertilizer, no spring Halts fertilizer, seed came up very little and then died. i watered it quite a bit. Did I do something wrong ? I put down the green bag of turf builder, that I swear by, it's a great product, really thickened and greened up the lawn !! I did this a month earlier.
Pros: Easy to Use
Cons: Didn't work as expected

No more bare spots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use-spread it as directed, watered as directed and watched it grow. It not only filled in the bare spots but it thickened other areas of my lawn!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had 3 trees removed from my front lawn. The holes were filled with soil. Several different grass seeds were used, but with no satisfactory results. After using your product I was so happy to see how nice the grass grew. I love the results.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Good Directions, Value, Quality, beautiful results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so disappointed with this product. I had a terrible problem with crab grass after a very hot, dry spell in the summer. I went to my local hardware store in our small town and they recommended your Scotts Turf builder grass seed with the coated feature for better water retention. It was fall and the crab grass had begun to die. I raked the grown to loosen the soil. I spread good compost/soil over the 150sq ft area and then spread the new grass seed with a hand spreader. I overseeded the area because it was so small an area and I had the seed. It did not germinate before snow fell in December, even though it was supposed to have according to the directions. The next spring only a very few seeds germinated. I waited a few more weeks, but all that did was give the weeds a chance to grow, and no more grass. A new crop of crab grass that took over the area and I had start over again this past fall with different seed from a different company. It germinated within a few weeks and looked great before the snow fell. I know you wont publish this, but I was so disappointed.
Cons: Didn't work as expected
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best grass seed

Grass did not grow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this down and all i had was blue grass seed for weeks. Bought seed from a local shop and it grew in and I could still see blue seed in the new grass which never grew from this product.
Cons: Didn't work as expected
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
