Nice blend for partly shady lawns

Pros: Effective, Quality
Cons: be sure to water!

Its been 8 days from the day, I planted the seed. They where right it growing in 5 to 10 days. Just waiting for the bear foot walk thou it.
I would say use it, It does a great job for someone who doesnt hand a green hand.

A great product for the shade but disappointed in the sunny areas

This seed took very well to the shady and partially sunny areas of my lawn but failed to germinate in the areas of full sun despite regular waterings. The same soil was used in both locations and there is only 20 feet of separation between the two areas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I lost a couple sections of my lawn during a harsh Wisconsin winter. I used Scotts Watersmart grass seed to restore these areas and am very happy with the results. I raked the soil, spread the seed and covered with spagnum moss. Kept the areas moist and this year I cannot see where the old part of my lawn ends and the new areas begin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Half of my yard is in the shade, especially in the late afternoon, had a hard time keeping that area thick with grass, looked thinned out. So far I am really pleased with the results of this excellent product
