I had 2 differening experiences, one where the ground was bare, well raked and watered when the grass grew well, happy with the result. However when i applied it to the lawn to cover some bare patches and generally reseed it didnt take well at all, even when using turf builder lawn soil. If you are using i would highly recommend preparing the ground well. this isnt a product you can just throw down and expect great results.
Pros: Quality, Good Directions
Cons: Didn't work as expected, Difficult to use

We are sorry to hear that the Turf Builder Sun & Shade Grass Seed did not germinate as expected. For best results we recommend applying the seed when temperature are consistently between 60 to 85 degrees. Seeds will not germinate if the temperatures are cold at night, or are fluctuating from high day temperature to very low night time temperatures. Very hot weather will also inhibit seed germination. We want you to be confident in our products. For this reason, we offer a product guarantee to our consumers. At your earliest convenience please contact us to see what can be done.
