Filled in thinning spots on lawn

Good general purpose grass seed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this down about 4 weeks ago approximately 4/26 and after a mowing and quick raking of the affected bare areas. I really didn't put too much effort into the prep work. The temperatures and rainfall have been almost ideal for growing in Southern NJ especially for trying in the spring instead of fall. It's nice and green and ready for it's first mow. It looks pretty good so far.

Turf Builder Magic

I wish I had taken photos to show how well this worked. Long story short - elderly mother, overgrown lawn including trees, pine/spruce lower branches removed, add Turf Builder with little to no ground preparation (ie it was still smothered in pine needle) and within a couple weeks and minor watering there was a lush lawn. End result - extremely happy mother and neighbors who constantly point out her beautiful yard. In appearance it seems so simple as it's seed mix with shredded newspaper, but it took incredibly well many times over to the worst patches and continued to grow.
Pros: Value, Quality, Easy to Use, Good Directions, Effective

It works great with dogs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 dogs and this product gets my lawn growing even though my dogs run all over. In some of the hardest places my grass has grown, always use it.
