We love the results of Scott's Turf Building Grass Seed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were extremely pleased with Scott's Turf Building Seed... a little pricey ,,, but worth it, because it does what it claims... in shaded areas we now have grass... tried other products... no results. Thank you Scotts... Love your products.
Pros: Value, Quality, Easy to Use, Good Directions, Effective, it works!, grows in shade, spreads quickly

Sun and Shade seed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I planted this grass seed last fall and did everything I was supposed to, it came up very sparsely and I thought maybe it would look better in the spring. Has to be done over with another brand of grass seed. It looks as bad as it did in the fall, I have better luck with Menards brand products, way over priced and I have always been a scotts customer.
Cons: Didn't work as expected, over priced
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry that you did not get the results that you expected. When planting it is important to seed at least 30 days before your first hard frost. Temperature plays a critical role in seedling germination. Soil temperatures must be at least 55° F for seed to germinate. For best results, daytime temperatures must typically be in the 60-80°F. range and not going below 50°F at night. Seeds will not germinate if the temperatures are cold at night, or are fluctuating from high day temperature to very low night time temperatures. We want you to be confident in our products. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prepped soil as recommended and put down seed. It's possible that we didn't water it enough but the grass never grew. It was in a high sun area.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Directions
Cons: Didn't work as expected

Quick growing grass seed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a small fenced in back yard that I have a lawn company treat and I use only Scott's grass seed. The yard took two seasons to take but the results are amazing. The blades are so green and the yard is dense without weeds. Thanks Scott's for a great product.
