[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seed is amazing! I had some winter kill and prepped the area by roughing up the soil. I spread the seed and covered with a light cover o Scotts top soil. The growth is nothing short of amazing
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Good Directions, Quality, Value, fast growth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I began by using the Scotts app on my phone and this was one of the recommended products to be used on my lawn. I have had an overly positive experience with my lawn since I became a home owner and was told I would have difficulty with my lawn. This product lives up to the name and quality. I for one will continue to follow the app and to use this product as well as the Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed and Scotts® Turf Builder® Halts Crabgrass Preventer with Lawn Food. You have a customer for life and so does my lawn.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Good Directions, Value, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Sun & Shade Mix to reseed my lawn in the fall of 2015. The seed germinated within the given time table. It filled in bare spots and all other areas of my lawn. I received excellent support from the online "Help Center" at the Scotts web site. For over forty years, Scotts' products, spreaders, fertilizer, grass seed, lawn produces, and support have met or exceeded my expectations.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Good Directions, Quality, support from scotts help center

We apologize for the inconvenience you’ve experienced when using the product. This particular product usually has a lot of success stories from users, but it is helpful when we get reviews like yours to help us produce quality product. For Cool Season grasses like Bluegrass, Ryegrass, and different types of Fescues soil temperatures must be at least 55 degrees (+12.7 Celsius) for grass seed to germinate and can take between 4 -21 days to see germination. Warm season grasses like Bermudagrass, Centipede and Zoysia, which germinates in early summer, requires soil temperatures between 75 - 90 degrees (24 - 32 Celsius) and can take between 5-28 days to see visible germination. Watering also plays a defining factor in germination. We recommend watering 1-2 times a day until germination is visible and then watering 1- 1 ½” per week as needed. Both excessive watering and not enough watering can slow down or even stop germination of the product. If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to contact us at http://tinyurl.com/mds8zo5 and one of our representatives would be glad to assist you. We hope this issue has not caused you to lose faith in our product, as we use reviews like yours to maintain and improve the quality product that you and other consumers have come to know and love.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grass seed is my favorite. It is quick to germinate and comes in evenly. I always have a bag of it on hand to seed bald spots and in the fall I use whatever is left to over seed. My lawn looks terrific.
