[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this at the end of Oct, And put the seed down but as if now it has not germinated as we had a neighbor spray roundup and it killed a bunch of grass in our yard. I hope it was not to late to plant this to get gemination yet this yr as we are supposed to get into the 60's all next week

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the product few days ago. Unfortunately we received some cool temps here in new jersey so not sure about the germination success. The seed are a cool color and definitely manufactured for success with its coatings so can't wait. I did aerate and applied at the overseed rate. Will keep moist and see what happens with the cool temps. Wish it was offered a bit earlier in the season for the northeast. Hopefully next time.
Applied the full 7 lb bag over approx 2500 sq foot yard. Directions are perfect and labeling is informative. I don't expect the product to be anything short of excellence as most scott's products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked this product up when I needed to seed my lawn after a dethatch and aerate. My lawn doesn’t look like much now but, we will see how it looks next spring. I’ll update when it gets warm enough for the grass to grow.

Ugh! Fustrated

I have used this product for years with excellent results. Well, until now! Purchased this product last spring and fall and again this spring. Don't know what has happened but germination has been 50% at best. That's 6-20lb bags with poor results. This spring a neighbor purchased this seed on my recommendation and had similar poor results. Must be a covid thing?

Chemically treated - poses danger

After I bought this and had already threw away the receipt and was about to use it I read in small print that it's chemically treated and not safe to use as food, feed, etc, keep away from children, and a bunch of other warnings. I honestly don't know of an animal that doesn't eat grass. Even cats, who are carnivores, eat grass. Why would you create something that might harm animals, children and according to your warnings - the water supply!? That's terrifying to know that people are using this without reading that and possibly causing harm to their animals or neighboring animals.
