[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Scotts Turf Builder grass seed and sun mix is so good. This product thrives in a variety of conditions. It gives you a stronger lawn. I put it in the seed spreader and spread it evenly around the yard. I have seen great results. I would highly recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Sun & Shade Mix has a combination of grass seed, fertilizer, and soil improver that helps to establish deep roots and allows your lawn to grow thick and lush. I used my spreader with this to distribute the seed evenly across the baren patches of grass in my yard and it is coming in beautifully I water twice a day and will continue to do so for a few weeks. This is simple to use, works fast, and is very effective. I highly recommend this grass seed for anyone who is looking for a green plush lawn! .

Great seed to fill in bare spots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Application was smooth and easy. Grass started sprouting within 7 days. Came up even and with nice deep green color. This seed is great for fill-in and overseeding. Would highly recommend this great Scott’s product.

Outstanding little seeds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grass seed is great . I have a bald spot under a tree, it never grows grass . I planted this grass seed under the tree, skeptical that it would grow as I’ve planted many different kinds, and nothing ever comes up. To my surprise it wasn’t long till I had grass growing under that tree . I couldn’t be happier with this product .

High Quality Seed Mix

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using Scott’s products for many years. I’m also a professional groundskeeper for a large campus. This product works very well if you’re just looked to touch up a few bare spots or for growing an entire lawn. This has everything you need in the bag, no need to fertilize but if you want an extra kick I would suggest Scott’s fertilizer for NEW GRASS SEED. This has some kind of magical pre-emergent built in which will only knockout new weed seeds, not new grass seed. Truly a remarkable product.
I personally would wait until the cooler fall months to put down grass seed. Our summers are quite harsh but our spring season is quite cold. Growing grass seed in southern Colorado in the spring is difficult but not impossible. Fall is much better, late August to early September is ideal.
Good luck. I would highly recommend this product.

Easy to use and great results!

Great grass seed!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is some great grass seed!! We put it out a little over a week ago and it’s already sprouting. The sun and shade mix is superb because it will grow anywhere…even without a lot of light. If you need to get new grass seed, you can’t go wrong with this Scotts sun and shade mix.
