[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hi all, when i used this product, i am living in an apt. now, i spread it around in sunny areas, and shady, i did see a difference in the lawns around the complex!!! and it was very good, i defiantly would recommend this to use.
Pros: Good Directions, Easy to Use, Quality, Value, Effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put and spread this all around a pine tree in front of my apt., and as you know it is very hard for grass to grow there!!!! so there was some spots that did grow, I didn't think any would actually, but it did work some what, KEEP GROWING!!!
Pros: Good Directions, Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks so much for the sample. Also I had bought a bag of the same grass seed a few days prior to getting the bag from you. I planted both bags overseeding and covered them with manure. Watered and watered...Nothing. Very disappointed. I wanted to have a nice green lawn for the Socal winter and got nothing. Gonna try straight Rye grass. I have done this before with great results. Maybe just the wrong time of year to overseed?? Thought I would be fine in Los Angeles fall weather.

Grass seed never grew

I put Betsy down over 2 months ago and if you have to see any growth. Might as well have thrown the money away.

Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Sun & Shade Mix®

I bought a 20lb bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Sun & Shade Mix® last year and initially did an over seeding across the Lawn and nothing ever grew. I then planted seed this Spring in several areas. I raked the areas to loosen the soil, I spread the seed, covered it with top soil, lightly rolled it and have been watering the areas twice a day for the last 6 weeks. Very little grass has grown, is very spotty and the areas still look bare. I'm giving up on watering, 6 weeks is enough and giving up on the Scott's grass seed. I've planted grass for many years and the Scott's is by far the slowest growing and worst seed I've ever used.
I also use Scott's fertilizer on my lawn and seem to get good results but the grass seed just doesn't grow.

Never seems to grow

Never seems to grow. I’ve tried this product twice and it’s failed to germinate both times. I can buy seed at a quarter of the price that grows in a couple days.
