[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product, open package and spread on lawn for a great turf building. Spread seed in sun or shade areas and watch the results. Lush green grass with little work. Just water and watch grass grow and get green.

Grows fast and thick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a month ago and spread it around my lawn for filler and it grew in fast and thick. It looks like it will be in good well before it gets too cold to grow come this winter .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Turf Builder really helped to fill in my lawn. All the spots that had died from the summer heat, is where I used the Turf Builder on. My lawn looks so nice now! It was so easy to use!! I am so happy I found this product.

Ideal for those tough conditions!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a long summer of use the lawn in my backyard had a couple of bare spots. I opted for Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Sun & Shade Mix® because the spots are almost always shaded and get very little direct sunlight. After prepping the spots I raked in the seeds and watered according to directions. Before long I saw signs of germination and now the new grass is growing in nicely.

Doesn't work in NY during the fall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its fall in NY and the directions say to use this between specific temperatures so I can't use it accurately. In my case because it's now November it did not work. It didn't do anything at all. It's probably better to use this product in the spring.

The best time to seed with this grass mix is in the Autumn between August 20th and September 20th. Later seeding may not have time to germinate before the temperatures drop. Incomplete

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the seed a little late in the fall season and I was a little concerned about the less than ideal weather conditions for seeding. I did love the blue colored seed. It really made it easy to track exactly where the seed was placed. I worked the seed into the soil as per instructions as well as the Turf Builder Triple Action. Unfortunately, we ran into a bit of a cold spell that very week. That coupled with the shorter days hindered seed germination. It took about 18 days to see grass but growth was rather sparse. I'll try again in a few months when spring brings warmer weather and longer days.

Spotty results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this last spring when we had lousy weather in the Midwest. Growing conditions were bad and we went from cold rain to hot heat/drought almost instantly. The seed did not germinate well in those conditions. I have tried it again this spring but the weather is also not ideal. I am not having great luck with this but I don't know if it is the product's fault or mother nature not cooperating.
Cons: Didn't work as expected
Pros: Easy to Use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
