Scotts Turf Builder Sun/Shade Grass Seed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this grass seed on an area after some backyard construction. Grass sprouted shortly after seeding & is coming in thick/full. I can tell there are no lesser grade seed (I.e. filler seed/contractor’s mix) in n this product that I have found in other brands. This seed is a little more pricey than competitive products but well worth it in the long run for thick green grass without having to pick weeds out. Highly recommended.

Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this seed down and thought it was strange that the seed was blue but the seed took right away. I have soil that drains water very quickly so the water smart technology was a big help as other seed i have put down before (Jonathan Green) did not grow at all. Also, I got no weeds growing with this seed compared to other products.

Thick, Green, and Easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a huge dead patch in the middle of my lawn. I spread this grass seed and in no time the entire patch was filled in with thick green grass! Not being much of a lawn guy, I was a bit overwhelmed with the thought of picking out and caring for new grass seeds, so I went with the trusted name in Scotts. Turned out to be a great decision. I followed the very simple instructions on the package and the whole process couldn't have been easier. I'm even thinking of tearing out some of the rougher areas of the lawn now that I know I can easily regrow a much better lawn with this product in no time.

Seems to do a great job overseeding

Great Grass

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seed is perfect for over seeding an existing lawn and to fill bare areas. It germinated quickly and has built in drought protection. Even though it was late in Fall grass now looks great and will be fantastic in spring.
