What the heck kind of grass is this???

I have faithfully prepared soil, starter fertilized and watered for 28 days. What has germinated is something I can't even identify. There is about 50% fine grasses (good) and 50% two bladed short ?grass that I have no idea about except I believe it is NOT rated for Zone 5. Poor product. Likely will need to buy some Pennington.

It keeps dying after about three weeks

I am very disappointed in this product it appears to work and then dies for no apparent reason

SCOTTS RUINED MY LAWN!!

I purchased these grass seeds 6-8 weeks ago and applied them to a clean slate area where I had previously killed the grass and weeds in preparation to start fresh. This is a new construction home and there was minimum grass or weeds as it was predominantly hard clay-like dirt filled with pea gravel. I added new dirt from a landscape company, followed the instructions on the seed bag, watered day and night and the end result is entirely crab grass. Being new to yard work I did believe from the beginning that it did not appear to be grass and began to research online only to find out that although green and fluffy, the entire side of my home is crab grass in addition to the few places where I added the seeds to fill in thinning high traffic areas on my front lawn. I am very sad, disgusted and disappointed as a lot of care, water and time went into this project and now I do not even know what to do...there are too many to pull so it appears I will need to completely start from scratch. I planned to have an Open House in the yard for my 2020 high school graduate (who was not able to have prom or a graduation) in the yard to allow social distancing but under these circumstance I will need to find an alternative. Very Disappointed!!

Rocky soil

I’m the new grounds keeper at an apartment complex. The owner bought the scotts sun and shade mix. We followed the directions. It’s been about 2 1/2weeks and have yet to see the seeds grow. Ground has gravel and rocks but very good soil. Been watering area since planting twice a day(morning and night on timer). No sign of new grass growth. Getting discouraged. Was looking forward to taking shoes off and walking through grass and being proud of what was accomplished. The owners bought 4 bags.

Greatly Disappointed

I bought and used this product here in Virginia in early spring. I covered well over 5,000 square feet in one section and about 2,000 square feet in a second section. This grass came up very well in both sections. By May 15th, I had a beautiful stand of grass in both locations. By July 1, the grass was mostly dead. The heat we had in June just put an end to this cool season blend of grass seed. I will never used it again. It is just not made for the climate in my area and I was foolish to think it would make it. No amount of watering and fertilizing could bring life to the grass in the heat of the summer. I wound up removing it and planting warm season grass seed in the smaller section. I now have 2,000 square feet of thick green grass that is continuing to fill in. I can't fault the product, but it certainly is not the right match for my climate.

For Cool Season Grasses (Bluegrass/Rye/Fescue) Soil temperatures must be at least 55 degrees (+12.7 Celsius) for Grass Seed to germinate. Disappointing results

Bought this 3 weeks ago, followed the instructions i see only 25% growth , should have spend money on cheaper store versions for better results..

Not a Happy Purchaser

I diligently followed the directions and even put flags around the seed area to keep my lawn service from walking on the seeded area. The grass came up and it is still the same height as when I planted it 2 months ago. It has not grown any taller or thicker. I wish I had just bought some sod and been done with it. I wasted time and money on this project carefully doing everything with little results. I have bought many Scotts products but this was not worth it.
