[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] as a first time user of Scotts products, i found this product easy to use and maintain. the directions on the bag along with the helpful smartphone application make it easy to understand when to apply the product and when it needs water. after a few weeks i noticed that the grass was greener and the spots where there was no grass was covered.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Good Directions, Value, Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Put this seed out with in a week had grass that was a nice dark green color and was ready to mow in two weeks grows fast and strong
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Value
Cons: needs a scoop to get seed out would be easier

Totally turned our yard around!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dad sold Scott's products in his store years ago and so when we decided to participate in a Water shed program and they brought all new compost to our yard, it was a no-brainer to use Scott's products to do all of the new seeding. People could nor believe how nice our yard looked as it started to grow and fill in.

i removed the dry and dead grass, aerated the soil, put Sun and shade mix, put started fertilizer and watered it daily and it also rained almost every day after the seeding still the grass did not grow at all. i am totally dissatisfied.
Cons: Didn't work as expected
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
