Sun and shade Works well

Use this all the time. i have trees in my front yard which gives me shade and sun. Works well...comes up nice. Scotts products work well together . My lawn is thick and green every year

Covering the holes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product! Used all Scotts products for overseeding my lawn. Seeds started to grow just after 6 days after planting. Definitely will buy again for my next project next year.

Let me preface this by saying, I only write reviews based on actual experience - not out of contempt or anger.
I purchased Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Sun & Shade Mix® to over seed and to seed an unused area of my lawn that used to be a garden. I put down top soil, stater fertilizer and rolled the area after laying seed down. In over a month, none of the seeds sprouted. I had a bag of seed from a local sod company that I put down to cover up patches when I ran out of Scotts. The local seed is thriving, whereas the Scotts is still blue mat and is doing nothing. To say I'm disappointed and wasted an unfortunate amount of money is an understatement.
Cons: Didn't work as expected
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The seed did not germinate well
