Keep up the great Scotts products

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it as a patch for bald patch in lawn. It worked great and provided professional outcomes. I wouldn't buy anything but Scotts. Quick results with beautiful views. I finished up with Scotts Starter fertilizer with quicker sprouts.

Grass-WEED?

Bought 2 10,000 sq' bags, of this Grass Seed 2x's coated to re do areas of my lawn. WELL! there are some seeds I got 90% of what looks like trees developing. See pics below.Th

Bought 25 lb bag sun and shade mix . Put down top soil stater fertilizer and covered mushroom manure. Nothing growing

Exceeded expectations!

This product definitely exceeded my expectations, I did not expect to have such a nice thick lawn in such a short period of time. After 8 weeks I have a beautiful thick lawn that my children can enjoy playing on! Great product, definitely recommend!!

Brought my lawn back to life

Amazing results

In May my lawn was suffered a lot of damage from the winter. There was hardly any new grass coming up
and the only thing that was growing were weeds. I was going to give up since we hardly did anything to our lawn , and it would cost a lot to re sod. I did some research and decided to seed my lawn with the best seed on the market and hopefully that would make a difference. So I bought a bag your Scott sun and Shade coated seed as well as the starter fertilizer. I as well got rid of the weeds, raked, dethached, applied Scott’s grub control, got rid of the ants with liquid raid , and trapped the chipmunks that were creating holes in my lawn. Then I applied about 50 bags of topsoil on my lawn. All of this made a difference , since now my lawn was ready to be seeded with the Sun and and Shade coated seed. Also what is very important is that after I seeded , I watered my lawn every day, sometimes twice if it was hot, early in the morning , then at night. At first it didn’t seem as if the seeds were germinating, then there were little sprouts coming up in areas that I had long given up years ago. I also didn’t apply the starter fertilizer at first since on the bag it said to apply 2 weeks after you seed. I reseeded, my lawn 3 weeks later, applied some topsoil to some patches that were not growing as fast, then I applied the stater fertilizer. Now my lawn only has a few small bare patches. I am a pleased with theresults. I never thought that my lawn would recover this year. I think that the key to success with this product is to follow the steps. You can’t expect results if you just throw the seed down. Think of your lawn as a plant. Will it grow well if you don’t water or fertilize it ?

Don’t waste your money

I bought this Scott’s product to use to seed a couple areas on a couple of paying customers lawns this product even when used with the starter fertilizer as directed grew nothing but weeds and crab grass if you want weeds this is the product for you . I’ve since had to spend a lot of money fixing the damage Scott’s weed seed has caused and find an alternative brand not to mention hurt my company’s reputation I thought Scott’s was a good brand its so bad it shouldn’t be sold in stores .
