[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a yard that is split into bright sun and heavy shade. This seed allows both sides to look great with a minimum of work.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does grow even on poor soil. The only problem seems that a lot of the seed doesn't grow. You have have to over seed to see results.
Pros: Easy to Use, can seed easily
Cons: Didn't work as expected, all seed doesn't grow
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried nearly all different grass seeds and found most of them spotty. I can't say that about this one. I would guess that 99% of the seed actually germinates to full coverage of my bare spots. This brand is tops, try it, you'll like it!
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Good Directions, Quality, Value, the best i have used

Spread topsoil and seed and watered twice a day for 1 week. Most seed did not germinate. Growth of that which did has been slow.
Cons: Didn't work as expected
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
Response from ScottsBy DeMarioScotts Consumer ServiceJune 9, 2016
We apologize for the inconvenience you’ve experienced when using the product. This particular product usually has a lot of success stories from users, but it is helpful when we get reviews like yours to help us produce quality product. For Cool Season grasses like Bluegrass, Ryegrass, and different types of Fescues soil temperatures must be at least 55 degrees (+12.7 Celsius) for grass seed to germinate and can take between 4 -21 days to see germination. Warm season grasses like Bermudagrass, Centipede and Zoysia, which germinates in early summer, requires soil temperatures between 75 - 90 degrees (24 - 32 Celsius) and can take between 5-28 days to see visible germination. Watering also plays a defining factor in germination. We recommend watering 1-2 times a day until germination is visible and then watering 1- 1 ½” per week as needed. Both excessive watering and not enough watering can slow down or even stop germination of the product. If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to contact us at http://tinyurl.com/mds8zo5 and one of our representatives would be glad to assist you. We hope this issue has not caused you to lose faith in our product, as we use reviews like yours to maintain and improve the quality product that you and other consumers have come to know and love.
