[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am starting out a brand new lawn from scratch. I tore up the plants that were left there by the previous owner and I had grass boarded by two strips of dirt from the plants I ripped up. The grass seed I have planted seems to have taken well and is growing. I have been following the directions and it seems to be working well.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Directions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know that I am not the greatest gardener, and I do not have the best soils, but I never saw this product's ability to grow grass in harsh conditions. (I live in sandy Long Island, NY) I did not find Turf Builder to do any better than any other grass seed. I have bit more coverage, but I still have bald spots, bare patches and "difficult" areas in front and back. I water, I feed and have a gardener.
Cons: Didn't work as expected
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is great product that has really enhance the look of my lawn. I live on the corner therefore it is imperative that my lawn look attractive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Turf Builder grass seed mix works extremley well. I have used it in both sunny and shadey areas. The seed took well and looks great. I will continue to use all Scotts outdoor products and look forward to my next fertilization.
