[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied this sun and shade mix in September in Northern Ohio and I was amazed at how fast it grew. I was amazed! It's a little more expensive than other brands but well worth it. The blades started growing within 5 days and it is so thick and full. Definitely recommended!

Product worked very well

I used Scotts grass seed on a section of my lawn that never performed very well. The Scotts product was easy to use. Within a couple weeks the grass was growing and is now thicker than the rest of my lawn! Very pleased and will use it again in other areas!

Does what it is supposed to do

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product to overseed last October. I used the spreader and walked over my acre sized lawn. Water for 10 minutes at a time, 3 times a day. Within 5 days, we saw some growth. I plan on using the product again this Spring to fill in a few bear spots and will also use the crabgrass preventer as well. I use all Scotts products and have always been pleased with the results.

Scotts Grass Seed...Awesome!

My husband bought this at Lowe's and when we used it on an area with balding grass, it took no time at all for the seeds to take root and fill in that ugly bald spot on our lawn. We then sprinkled it all over front & back yards and now our grass is full, lush & mostly green (because of the drought we can't water as much as we used to!)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] followed the directions to a "T" and the seeds did not germinate. not a single blade of grass. quite disappointing and costly!

Cons: Didn't work as expected, costly
