[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this product and the results were great. The problem area I had resulted in a lush lawn where it was sparse and struggling before. You can not go wrong with this product from Scotts. I would recommend this to everybody.

About as easy as it gets..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I believe this to be a great product. As it’s getting colder here in the south it’s probably not the best time to see results but I have used this product earlier in the year and the areas it was placed the grass is thicker. We still have green grass here(even though the weather has been opposite lately has a lot to do with it) but it’s still green. Areas where this product was not placed are not as green. The thickness of our grass is about the same. Overall, very good product.

Great for bare spots!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a landscape company overseed my fescue yard. There were a few bare spots that I used this product to fill in. Works great. Make sure you follow the instructions entirely, especially keeping the seed mixture wet once you spread it.

There are many grass seed products , and I have tried several with good success at filling in patches in my lawn. I figured this one would be better than those without fertilizer. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The product did nothing; and I know I used it correctly. On top of this, do not use if any dogs will be on your lawn. I had to put fencing around the patches because the dogs would roll in and try to eat it. Yes, I did re-do the areas where the dogs were rolling, and then put the fencing up so they couldn't get in.

I have treated my lawn with Scotts weed and feed and it did kill all the clover I had. I have a small lawn and have two big bare spots now. I tried thickrlawn sun and shade. It has been two weeks and nothing has grown. It's hot but I've watered as instructed. I am disappointed with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a unique all in one seed & fertilizer product which is great to reduce work and keep the lawn looking green and lush. This is my new go-to product to thicken up thin areas and fill-in where the lawn is bare. It works really well and the seed grows quickly. I like that this is a three in one product with the seed, the fertilizer and even the soil improving ingredients. There will always be a problem areas that need to be re-seeded but I need to keep it effective & fast so I can get to other chores. I recently had to have some interior/exterior water pipes replaced and they had to dig up part of my grass. I was able to fill it in fast and quickly get the grass regrowing and the bare spot covered.
