Spreads & covers well, easy to see once on ground

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I feel thar the sizing of this bag is perfect for smaller areas that need a little extra love and attention. It spread very well in my push spreader, and we are excited to see the difference this product makes to a yearly troubled patch at our property.
I also liked how easy it was to see the product as it spread, and afterwards, making it easy for me to see if I had missed any areas.
I cant wait to see how much of a difference this will make to our lawn, and anticipate purchasing more if all goes well.
The bad itself had an easy to open top, with a small indication notch to pull away. The sizing was just right for what we needed, and looking online the price point is where I would expect this to be.

Greatly Improved High Traffic Area

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotts Turf Builder Thick'R Lawn Sun & Shade has greatly improved a high traffic area in my back yard. I live in Wisconsin, and the soil in my back yard is very sandy as I live close to a wetland, making it a little more difficult for grass seed to grow and flourish. One of the things I was most excited about with this product was the soil improver component. The specific high traffic area that I used this product at was along the fence where three dogs (including a Great Dan) run up and down with the neighbor's dog - needless to say it is very worn with patchy grass. After watering once per day, I now have new grass growing - even the grass patches are getting noticeably thicker. Overall I am very pleased with this product; it works well into my Scott's annual program as well.

Super stuff

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This had made a huge difference in our yard! It’s brilliant green right now and the rest of the neighbor's lawns are looking pretty sad. Couldn’t be easier to apply and everything works together in one product. We live in the Colorado mountains and it’s suited just right for our cooler temps.

Thick and Green

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You gotta Love Scotts - all of their products work great, but this is by far my favorite! This is a one step solution to get your grass back to being green and Thick without having to do multiple steps and applications. We added a cement patio to our backyard in the middle of the summer, we had to dig up the area that the pad which never works to be just "That" area. Being that it was the middle of the summer it takes alot more time to get the grass to grow let alone be thick. Scotts Thick R Lawn made it easy and we were able to enjoy our patio with beautiful green thick grass surrounding us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the scotts turf builder about a month ago and I'm really happy with the results. There is so many bare spots in my yard because of high traffic and this helped a lot. It made my grass look more green and healthy and even though there is still spots without grass, they are smaller and less noticiable. It is really easy to use but you do have to remember to keep your lawn moist for it to work.

Huge improvement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sun & shade turf builder has been exactly what my yard needed this summer. There is a area in front of my house that doesn't get a lot of sun light because of how tall my house is it casts a shadow. Pair that with our dry summer my grass in this huge area was looking terrible. I decided to try this product to see if it would help my problem and I am so glad that I did. It has 3 great factors to it - seed, soil improvement, and fertilizer. It was extremely easy to spread through this area with my push spreader. I was able to spread it all over evenly. I have a automatic sprinkler system installed so it was watered daily after the sun went down. The grass came in and it was so much more thicker, greener, and just overall healthier. I am very pleased with the end result. My grass grew in amazing, even in this shaded area. It was so much more thicker and makes my yard look so much better.

Bad batch?

Purchased this product about two months ago to help fill in some bare spots on my yard. Had about 10-12 spots that I wanted to patch and grow new grass. Not a single seed took. I even reseeded after nothing took off after two weeks. Again, nothing grew. Very disappointed in this product. Have been using Scott's products for years without any issues.
