[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product about a month ago through Scotts Miracle Gro product sampling program and although I applied it to my lawn I saw some improvement but not on bear spots. Maybe weather conditions affected the application or something else, not sure.

Don’t buy, garbage product

The content label says .01% weed seed. This is not .01%. I expect more from a leading national brand!

As a slow ferlizer it does the trick! Makes your lawn green and thick. As for óverseeding really dint notice a lot of germination, I Kept the seed moist and followed The directions .. it did a good job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great concept not so good execution. Product works like it says so if you want a quick, thick filler for light spots this is your product. I do feel for larger areas this product has too much filler (soil improver) in it to justify the price for the seed and fertilizer you get.

Works amazingly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Scotts Turf Builder Thick’R Lawn Sun and Shade. I used my spreader to apply this to my yard. Easy application dump and push. Had great coverage for my bare spots and even my lighter filled in grass. I did water this once a day which was perfect. I also racked first to be assure nothing would be in the way of the soil. I love that this has fertilizer and soil improver in it. This treats the new seed and my existing grass. This has since sprouted beautifully! It has filled in perfectly in the sun and in the shade areas. I defiantly recommend this for all types of grass. I’m in upstate NY and it’s the end of September when I used this and I look forward to having grass filled in for next year. Great grass seed!

LIVE in Detroit Never seen anything Like this ,my grass looks beautiful . Long and Healthy grass,hate to cut in,but I have too. Can't wait to see what it looks like .Will always recommend Scotts products for Lawns
