Works great for my sparse tree filled yard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My backyard is covered by the canopy of a very old oak tree. We've had many trees cut down but this one is a must keep. The backyard is fenced in for our 3 large dogs and between the roots and limbs shading and the dogs living there and digging holes there is NO grass to be found. We tried cutting back limbs for grass growth but that didn't help. This grass seed does exactly as it says. It grows beautiful grass in the shade of my backyard where I never thought there would be grass again. Highly recommend!

So Far So Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great results so far. Applied to the side yard next to the house where the grass was thin due to the consent shade from the house. Much thicker lawn. cant wait for the spring to reapply in this location as well as some patch work in the back yard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Scotts Turf Builder Thick 'R Lawn Sun & Shade came with great instructions and which spreader setting to put it on. I know it will take some time to see some results but i love that this is a 3 in1. It has the grass seed, fertilizer, and soil improver all together. It will fill in bare spots in my lawn and it will work great in sun or shade. It also didn't have a tremendous like some products do.

The best!

Dark green and healthy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I reseeded my lawn with this sun and shade mix the last week of October. Grass is growing beautifully and has a very dark green appearance. Reminds me of a dark green carpet. Grass will continue to grow until first mow. The only issue I have with this grass is that the summer sun will burn it in several spots varied in size and location throughout the lawn. The only way to repair it is to reseed it as I’ve done continuously over the past few years to maintain a healthy looking lawn. Yes, it can be arduous, but this is the price you pay for having a beautiful thick green lawn.

Builds and repairs damaged lawn
