Works well on bare spots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied this to bare spots I. My lawn where the soil is not very good. The seed is mixed with a type of mulch that keeps the seed where you want it and helps to absorb moisture so that the seed can germinate. I just checked today and I can see baby grass growing! I did lightly work the soil before I planted to insure the seed would grow. So far I am impressed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the turf builder and I really could tell a difference in my flowers. It really made the soil much richer and the flowers bloomed really pretty. I would recommend it to anyone that love gardening or planting flowers.

Very good for a troublesome area

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have a shade/sun area on a sloped corner of my backyard that also tends to get lots of runoff during rainstorms, so growing anything is a bit of challenge. All I did in October was scarify the soil to remove some zoysia thatch and give the seed a better chance of growing. Three weeks later, about 80% of the seed took despite three 1/2 - 1" showers. I'll apply more seed to the thinnest spots in the foreground of the first picture tomorrow, hopefully it will take as well. Good product, will look forward to seeing how it holds up with our summers here next.

Great, Time Saving Product

To be able to apply seed, fertilizer, and soil conditioner all at once is such a time saver for me. The seed has germinated well and is thickening up nicely. I can recommend the product.

I was amazed at how quick it seemed to help and our weather cooperated with just enough rain to get it going. It already looked thinker and greener in a little over 2 weeks. Going to purchase more in the Spring for our whole yard.

Sun , Shade and dirt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried the Sun & Shade all in one product on a spot the dog has worn a path out . Female Juvenile lab likes to turn the corner and jump on the spot about 4’ x 4’ absolutely nothing grew in the month I’ve had it on but most likely due to the dog continuing to land on the spot maybe next time I’ll try to rope it all off and see if it works better.

While you should start seeing germination in 6-14 days under ideal growing conditions. It will take about a month for all the seed to germinate. Cool nighttime temperatures and fluctuating temperatures will slow germination. Both excessive moisture and not enough moisture can also inhibit seed germination.
