Three steps in one time saver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is three steps in one! So far winter hasn't let go in Ohio, but I can still seed. I have some bare spots in a shaded part of my lawn thanks to a large puppy who loves to run. I blocked off a 20' x 30' area to overseed. Honestly, reseed is more accurate as it has only little grass islands. What I love about this product is that it comes out of the spreader cleanly with good distribution of seed, fertilizer and soil conditioners so I can see exactly were I have seeded.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product work well in most area, in the shaded areas it did seem to do as well. Easy to apply after mixing the product which was very dusty.

Better Than Expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had issues with decent grass coverage under my oak tree since I put my house here in 2003. Just figured that is how it is. Landscapers told me Oak trees take away the water. Unless I feel like watering at least once a week, get used to it. I have tried over seeding more times than I care to admit.
I put one bag of Scotts Turf Builder Thick'R Lawn Sun & Shade down. That was April 14. One of the 40# bags. I now have almost complete coverage. We are talking about a 100 year old Oak and I got a lot of coverage out of the bag with my spreader. Yup. After waiting 15 years this stuff does the trick. Don't take my word for it, check out my pics. I will be getting one more bag and I reckon I solved my 15 year problem. Sweet!

Happy to see that Scotts has a 3 in one product. Super easy to use with my spreader. Looking forward to a nice, full lawn in a few weeks! Be sure to time the application with the weather forecast!
