WORKED GREAT ON MY YARD DESTROYED BY DOGS!

we live in a townhome and have a small front and back yard. I was going out of town for approx 2 weeks and decided to lay this down in both the front and back yard. Out back yard was REALLY bare (read:no grass) between the dogs and a 10 foot pool we used to have in the yard. I realized what I had purchased after the fact but decided to use it anyway. I came home to a back yard totally full of new grass (minus a few difficult patches we have nearly always had) and a front yard that looked fuller than ever.

I have the nicest lot now!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a permanent camping site we have been on for a couple years now. It had absolutely no grass on it and was a complete mess. We have really done a lot with it but we continued to have thin patches of grass so matter what we did. There are alot of trees so regular grass seed only worked so well. A friend recommended Scotts THICK'R Lawn. It comes in a 12lb bag and it covered our entire lot! It said it worked in both sun and shade and and it has definitely lived up to that. Its a 3-in-1 solution. Seed to fill in your gaps. Fertilizer for thicker grass and a soil improver for root development. The combination worked good and by early fall there was a noticeable improvement to our entire lot. The patchy areas were filling in and the grass was definitely thicker. I am highly satisfied with the results and would definitely recommend it. Everyone was asking us what we put on our lot and we smiled! Thank you Scotts for a great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Are use this product in the spring as well as the fall and I can’t tell you how wonderful this product Truly is. I consider myself an expert and lawn maintenance I’ve been doing this for 30+ years and I have used all different types of products; but this product really lives up to what it states Thick’R. I have two areas in my lawn that gets son and sun and shade and obviously purchasing this product was specifically for the sun and shade area this is the first time I’ve ever had a product live up to its name it really fills in the areas nicely in the shaded area as opposed to other products that have been used in the past I will be buying this for my next season excellent product.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Good Directions, Value

Crabgrass!

i bought this product 2.5 months ago. Followed the instructions to a tee and no i have crabgrass that grows constantly and I need to cut it every 2-3 days or it looks wicked.

Good for filling in

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this in the backyard where there's mainly weeds but some big patches of grass. I wanted to try this out and see if it would help. We live in memphis so we put this down mid March using a spreader. It got lots of rain and sunshine and grew quickly. I like that fertilizes also while laying down the seeds. It has helped to fill in the gaps and make the grass we have look much better.

Grass isn't growing

I planted grass after laying down new top soil Memorial weekend and I have only a few small patches of grass growing by July 4th weekend I honestly expected more from Scotts brand grass seed, I bought 2-40lb bags along with Scotts turf builder weed and feed
