Great results.

I did a 2,500 sq ft re-landscape in front yard. Total tear out and recontouring, to bare earth/gravel. Then thin spead black dirt and cross raked, hand picked rock and reraked. Your package reminded buyer (me) to purchase fresh dated seed. I followed instructions to the "T" but probably missed dotting a few "I's". Planted area June 12 2020, watered daily. Hand picked disturbed weed seed growth as they appeared. As of today July 13th, mowed twice. Ready for third cut. Blends in well with 9,600sq. ft. front yard. Very pleased. Great product. Thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very very very impressed with this product. Is honestly what my lawn needed. Where I live is very sunny and I have lots of trees in my yard so I have different shaded spots so don't ever get sun. After reading the instructions to figure out how the best way it was to disturb you I was very impressed with the whole process. My lawn really needed a TLC and I was thankful this product was able to provide such a beautiful finish to my lawn.

I hit my lawn with lime 2 weeks ago. In I hope another 2 weeks I can mow & rake my lawn with my kids help of course. Let the Lawn wars begin on my street. My lawn will be lie Fenway Park. Thanks SCOTTS for a great product. I will not allow crab grass grow in my yard. Green Lawn = plenary of Fly Fishy

Bought this project 2 months ago I have always used Scott's products on my lawn it always came out all right every year but had thin lawn & bear spots this year so I gave this a shot OMG my lawn looks like a golf course dark rich emerald green thick as a carpet now every one wants to know my secret i tell them no secret just SCOTT'S

Unexpected Results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample in late October after the first freeze and thought it would be too late for good results or results of any kind. We were still getting the occasional day above 50 so l tried it anyway. By the end of November I was no longer expecting results and there was no germination as we had a few snow storms and freezing temperatures, fortunately snow doesn’t usually stay on the ground here more than a couple of days. In the middle of December I was on my way to the basement to get my snowblower for an upcoming storm and passed the seeded areas. I had sprouts an inch tall! The seed was good and the mixture potent enough to germinate on a longer schedule despite the freezing weather and occasional snow. Now in the end of January the grass is still slowly growing and apparently established well enough to make it to the spring.

I just came here to say that I absolutely cannot stand your commercial for this product. I realize that my opinion makes little difference here, but if I have to hear this woman complain that her "time is thin, but so is her yard" one more time, I'm going to throw my TV out the window.
Thanks for your time!

Helped Thicken a Thin Area

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received samples of four different Scott's grass seed products as part of their product sampling program. Of the four, I think I had the most success with the Thick'R Lawn product. I followed the preparation instructions and spread the seed on a thin part of our yard on a hill, and watered the area twice/day for about two weeks. The area partially filled in and seems to be gradually filling in further over time.
Pros: Easy to Use
I would recommend this to a friend!
