warning- crabgrass and lime green color for grass

Bought the product for sun and shade and now wonder whether I would have been happier with the straight fescue product- the sun and shade version basically sows crabgrass that is an odd color - so now our lawn is thick but with a peculiar weedy like grass- not a straight blade and because before we had bare patches - & now have areas filled with an odd lime green weedy looking growth that is a cartoon color

Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product from a fantastic brand I trust. Very easy to apply, took my about 20 minutes to cover my entire yard with an even coating. No harsh smells that I’ve noticed from other brands, that’s always a plus.

If you follow directions accordingly, this product will give you a nice thick lawn. The mistake many people make are applications. You must spread them out.

Thicker is better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our grass was looking a little rough so ran the spreader around with this in it. Seemed to come out even and apply as expected. We just got a good rain last night so hoping to see things green up around the house soon.

I had high expectations after reading the reviews and my neighbor’s results. Unfortunately, I followed the directions without any results. Bare spots are still bare and thin spots are the same. My Scotts plan had me seed in June. My neighbor had better results in May.

Works great. I can never find a seed that would germinate until I used Thick’r Lawns. Within a few days it was germinating. Thank you Scott’s products.
